Forty-Odd Grip Models, Because This Is Where We Start
Most studios carry six or eight grips and treat the rest as special order. We keep the widest grip library in the building because grip diameter, taper profile and compound are the first variables we set, and you cannot fit a variable you do not have on the wall.
That library spans rubber, corded, hybrid-textured and polyurethane wrap constructions across undersize through jumbo, plus the tape stock to build any of them up in quarter-wrap increments. In Florida humidity the compound choice matters as much as the diameter, and a corded pattern that feels harsh in January is often exactly right in August.

Ordered Against a Card, Never Off a Rack
We have component accounts with the major head manufacturers and a handful of smaller forging houses. What we do not have is a retail floor, which means nothing gets sold to you because it is already sitting in the building taking up cash.
Head selection happens near the end of a session, after grip, length, lie and turf interaction are settled. By that point the field has usually narrowed to two or three candidates on its own, and the choice between them tends to be about look and sound rather than numbers.

Plenty of sessions end with us recommending the club the player walked in with, rebuilt to a different length and grip. That is not us being modest — a five-year-old head with the right spec beats a current-season head with the wrong one nearly every time.
